Our patchwork panelled pocket shirt reworks men’s shirting with its punchy pastel tangerine and lemon palette. Partially made with as-good-as-new leftover cotton from our previous collection, it’s cut for a relaxed fit and has side splits at the hem, so the shirt doesn’t catch at the hips. Subtle details give it the signature Saywood flourish, from the patch pockets outlined in cotton herringbone tape and topstitching, to the corozo buttons.

A note on our cotton and corozo buttons
Our patchwork panelled pocket shirt uses cotton sourced from the Somelos mill in Portugal, which is working towards better environmental practices by switching to recycled or organic cotton. The tangerine-coloured cotton was left over from our previous collection. The fabric is also certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it’s completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin. The Eddy shirt itself was made in London by Apparel Tasker, who repurpose any textile waste, and which, as a London-based brand, reduces our carbon footprint.
We’ve used corozo – known as vegetable ivory – for our buttons, as it comes from a nut found in South America which can only be harvested once it naturally falls to the ground, making it a more sustainable choice.
