How does the Comhla website work?

We bring together lots of small, sustainable businesses so that it is easier for you to shop with confidence and curate your sustainable wardrobe. You buy pieces from us and the brand sends them to you - simple! If you are looking for a repair, alterations or upcycling service, you follow the prompts in our Mend section and book directly with the businesses we list. We are always interested to hear what you think, so please do get in touch if you have any feedback!

 

What packaging do you use?

Your purchases and commissions come to you straight from the brands and businesses Comhla works with. Each one chooses their own sustainable packaging solutions. Comhla asks every business what they use and it is important to us that they are using lower impact packaging and avoid plastic. We are always happy to help businesses find the most sustainable options that work for their business. We will be publishing more about the packaging used across our site soon.

 

How does shipping work?

Your purchases and commissions come straight to you from the brands and businesses Comhla works with. Each one chooses their own shipping solutions. As part of working with Comhla, the brands are asked about their shipping solutions providers and we encourage low carbon carriers. In the future we will be aiming to calculate the impact of shipping via buying through Comhla, to see how we can help reduce all our environmental footprints. Please note we are only shipping to the UK at the moment.

 

What are the shipping costs, why do I see different ones around the site?

Because your purchases and commissions come straight to you from the brands and businesses Comhla works with, they set their shipping costs. We list the costs clearly so you can see them and the brand gets that money sent to them to fulfil your order.

 

What happens to the shipping cost if I buy from more than one brand or business?

First of all, thank you for buying from lots of our brilliant brands and services, you are really embracing the Comhla ethos! If you order from multiple brands and businesses we have to apply the shipping costs for each vendor. We will be doing offers on shipping across multiple purchases. Keep a look out, it could be a great option for you!


I have a problem with my order, who should I contact? 

If you paid Comhla directly for your product, and haven't received it, please get in touch with us at hello@comhla.me and we will talk to you about the problem and do our very best to solve it for you.  Please do let us know if you have any further problems. 


I need to return my order, what should I do?

We are very sorry to hear that your order didn’t work out. The delivery you received should contain information about how to return the order, as it has been sent directly from the brands and businesses Comhla works with. If that isn’t clear or you have any further problems, please drop us a line at hello@comhla.me - we’ll do our best to help.
